
I have tasted the new products of fast food chains like their new flavor for pizza, new Chicken dish and the new sundae. What i have observed in these fast food products, they all have the same thing - fats, fats and more fats. It's easily for us to indulge in fatty food especially their availability is not a problem (fast food chains supply us with them). On the other hand, new restaurants and even small and medium enterprises have observed a healthier alternative.
An example is the "Organic Lemon grass Chicken" my mom bought for supper. I have evaluated that the chicken taste great. I compared it to the fried chicken that fast food chains offer. It has a light taste, not overpowering and is healthier. The slow cooking process made the juices inside the chicken trapped in the between the meat and the skin. The slow cooking also decreased the fat content but the juices were retained. the Lemon grass gave the chicken meat a great smell that makes your appetite go for more of the chicken. It's best served with rice.
Next time you eat out or just have take-out food in a fast food chain, think agin and look for a healthier alternative.
