The choices that we make

One thing I learned in life, is that mistakes are often made because of our stubborn attitude which the bible calls sin (the attitude and not generally all mistakes). Then we keep on asking ourselves, especially when we have the time to evaluate our lives, "What have I accomplished in life?" or maybe, "Am I doing something worthy with my life?". We often have strategies that we can think of to go somewhere far and just live a life of abundance and full of blessings. Yes, sin may be a problem but also the choices that we make must be considered. if we want to have best results then choose the best option. do not settle only on what is of second or lower levels. It does not mean that you are going nowhere is due to your mistakes rather, some of the options you chose in the past may be just of "good level" and not "the best".
I always encounter such dilemma, especially when I see that I'm being stagnant in my growth spiritually. I ask myself, "Why am I still in a mediocre place or situation?", "Why are my grades not that great?", "Why are my skills not that improving much?". then I just see that the choices I make were rather mediocre in nature. Like in my grades, I always give time to study but seldom I go to the library and maximize my potential to learn. In terms of the craft I am into, I always shoot but seldom compose and I shoot ordinary stuffs and never engage myself in outside interaction with fellow photographers in the community. You see, Sometimes, Its not the sin that makes our growth stagnant or makes us slow, It sometimes it is the choices that makes us slow. If we only choose the best, and employ our very best then we can have the best results.
I want to encourage everyone that we must be careful with our freewill. Choose the best and Choose the path where God wants you to be. He is the author of life and if we want to make our lives the best, surrender it now to God. Choosing his side and establishing a deeper personal relationship with him, if I may qoute to kindergartens learning the superlative of good "Bestest" choice you'll ever have.

life is like a great meal. It is composed of wonderful ingredients we call experiences, made through different processes we call growth and made by the Chef we call God. i'm an amateur cook and i would like to share some of my favorite recipes and some experiments. I only judge base on a personal preference. I believe that good food comes from a good heart.
