Every morning as I wake up and before I would do my daily devotion, I would always hear a familiar sound. Though my neighbors are very noisy because of their work and loud chatting, I have been thinking of the song that they were playing. The song is about peace and hope and love and not about senseless talk about any paparazzi nor any “ra ra ra” phrase. I have concluded that everyone, is looking for peace and hoping to get is someday. In psychology, they say what you do is also result of your subconscious mind at work. I think why they love the song and playing it over and over again, is that, they really are hoping for a better tomorrow.
Survey shows that there was an increase in the “hope” meter of the Filipinos. That more and more Filipinos are not anymore dependent on the government for solutions to their problems but on their selves and they have higher hopes for the betterment of the country as time passes by. I think this increase in the positivism of the country is something commendable; Though, there are many scandals that the media is sensationalizing both negative and positive, have resulted to something that we all can be proud of. The decrease in the dependence in the existing leadership may be of good thing.
Bearing in mind that people are not trusting the government to provide for their needs, they are continually searching for another entity that would be in exchange be dependent on. And this I think is where Christians need to come in. Christians, need to act and share the Gospel and that we need to Share Christ to them. Helping them trust God for all their needs. This Happening maybe a good sign that there is an upcoming revival for the Philippines. There are many people now leaving their old beliefs that human systems cannot fulfill the needs they have. Let us pray and continually work that this happening would be a more strategic way in reaching the generation and continually help shape the world until the coming of the one who have called us for this line of work.
life is like a great meal. It is composed of wonderful ingredients we call experiences, made through different processes we call growth and made by the Chef we call God. i'm an amateur cook and i would like to share some of my favorite recipes and some experiments. I only judge base on a personal preference. I believe that good food comes from a good heart.
