Today we had another big opportunity in front of us to share our faith with the people of sariaya. we had our second day community exposure and well, we call it "practical checkout" of those who attended the training. for a while i was there to document the moments the delegates sharing to others what they have learned about God's love and forgiveness and that everyone must know that this love is available to them if they only accepty him as their savior and Lord. The first one we had was a mother of three children. She gave us the time to share what we had. Jona (My batchmate), shared the Four Spiritual Laws to her, but as they progressed the talk became somehow long than expected because the mother was sharing her insights. it was not wrong for them to say their opinions and I can sypathize from the confusion she has. She was telling us that there is only one God, and yes it is true but she misinterpreted that we were promoting another religion. But actually we are not. We were just there to share that personal relationship is more important that the religion. that even thoughyou aare involved in a christian group but you still do not believe in God, You are not a christian at all. being a Christian is accepting Christ and having an intimate fellowship with him. This is seen even in the old testament. God and david were close, Abraham, Moses and others were talking to God, this proves that God is a personal God. He wants us to know and love him. That is why he sent his son Jesus for us. How twisted the belief system and well It produces confusion. membership in a christian community does not prove nor give you the Idea you are saved already. it's your personal decision that matters.
life is like a great meal. It is composed of wonderful ingredients we call experiences, made through different processes we call growth and made by the Chef we call God. i'm an amateur cook and i would like to share some of my favorite recipes and some experiments. I only judge base on a personal preference. I believe that good food comes from a good heart.
