mini-me principle

i just got a glimpse of the catch catalytic manual that my brother presented to me of which he got from kuya jomer from the Student congress we attended last may in malaysia. there was something about it that had led my eyes on scanning the pages. well, it was full of words and not much photos so my motivation was more of the interest in finding out what is the content. then an article just passed in front of me. It was the mini-me article. i did not actually had the idea what the mini me in the article was all about. but lots of ideas came to me so i started thinking and relating that mini-me principle it was stating is about the legacy that each of us would pass to the next generation. Yes, it is a work that maybe some individuals in this stage of my life would be working on, some would be enjoying the luxuries of life first before going to the action of really making a difference but eventually they wouldn't because of the lust of the worldlinees is in them. well, back to the topic of "mini-me. Legacy involves the passion we have. we all have God given passion. for example, i am very passionate about photography and visual arts. it what takes my breathe away. this is the first step, discovering what you really are or is provided by God for you to share. do you have the passion for music or maybe sports? it can also be computer games and the like, maybe more intricate like solving numericals and on research. Relaying the message is the second step and this step involves finding potential people you would eventually train and here the concept of transferability is important. How would you communicate your talents and god given passion and motivate others to do the same or maybe similar to what you have now in order for you to have a continouos living Legacy that will reach the upcoming generation? the thrid step would be the consistency and continuing the process until the ones you are mentoring also achieves the state of having the burden to reach the generation and make a legacy. it is like having a mini- me. actually there is a step zero that is very much important and this step involves knowing who gave the passion and the burden for you to make a legacy. a creator maybe or maybe more like discovering God. The greatest thing you could transfer to others in helping them why they live and do the same to others. God has this wonderful plan for us and that he has this greatness awaiting for us. but our attitude hinders us. our sinfulness in leymans term. we are a generation of sin and uncleanliness and the only thing we can do is to acknowledge that god is our saviour and Lord through the person of Jesus Christ. This can be expressed in a simple prayer like:

Lord, i need you and I am thankful for your son's sacrifice. I invite you in my life and that i acknowledge that i am a sinner and that i need your grace for me to have a legacy in my life. Make me an influencer. Make me yours.
